Friday Potluck

Dinner on Friday will be a potluck, so please bring a dish to share.

Please no avocado, watermelon, blue cheese, or mango (severe allergies).

Christine Center Meals: Experiences of the Senses and the Soul

You are welcome to enjoy home-cooked meals or stay in a modern hermitage with a furnished kitchen and bring your own food.

If you would like meals prepared by the Christine Center, please select this when you register. The cost is $50 which includes all meals for the weekend (with the exception of the Friday night potluck). This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.

Buffet-style meals at the Christine Center are homemade with fresh, natural whole foods, and grown locally when available. Most are vegetarian.

You’re invited to join the community in mealtime conversations. If you would prefer your meals in solitude, two hallways with lots of sunlight extend from the dining room with small tables. In warm weather, there are tables on the patio.

Let us know if you have special dietary needs. The Christine Center can best accommodate gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free diets requests when made before you arrive. You can indicate your meal preferences when you register.

The Christine Center Dining Room

A bank of windows and skylights lets in sunshine. During warm months there’s dining on the patio accompanied by hummingbirds and flowers. Coffee and tea service and fruit are always available in the dining room.

Philosophy of Food

The Christine Center emphasizes natural foods and meals made from scratch. Many of the vegetables, fruits, breads, honey, maple syrup, and eggs served are from local farmers.

The cooks bring unique creativity and style.  The food on the table has a sense of inner spiritual nourishment in harmony with the land.
