Kelly “Kahina” stumbled upon the belly dance path on a whim. The local YMCA was offering a belly dance class, and it was love at first shimmy. 20 years later Kahina is still dancing and loving every minute of it. She has been fortunate enough to be able to have studied with great teachers from all over. Kahina looks forward to many more years of dancing and studying with as many teachers as she can get to. She believes that great dancers never stop learning. Kahina's style of oriental dance is graceful, dynamic and timeless.

Heather van dalfsen

MEd, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, Certified Viniyoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist

Heather’s Yoga class intention is to provide a welcoming space for students to breathe, move, stretch, and strengthen in a way that is healthy, safe and inherent for their body. In addition, students are given time to pause, reflect and set a personal intention to support their self-care, reconnecting to what inspires them for continued growth within their body, breath, mind, character and heart.

“My love of the outdoors, my family and continuing my education impact my personal practice and my teaching. Yoga invites us to live with awareness and intention. It supports us in living within the grit and grace of each season of our life, our relationships and our purpose within our community. I am humbled and honored to be a student and teacher of yoga – sharing yoga tools that are accessible and customized to every individual, no matter their journey.”

With a touch of humor and creative sequencing, Heather looks forward to connecting the fluid movements, inspiring music and pure joy of yoga and dance.

“Heather’s words inspire my mind and my spirit and she gently reminds me that everything is a practice!” - C.D.
